Positive: very welcoming, friendly staff. Guided walking safari and scenic drive in the afternoon were highlights.

Negative: although tours and full board are included, it seems overpriced compared to other camps and lodges

Positive: Good home cooked food. The tents were comfortable and the bucket shower, to my surprise, was quite adequate. Our guide was knowledgeable and we both were pleased that we were persuaded to do the walks. This is a wonderful place to stay in a superb landscape. Good game viewing as well.

Positive: The location was absolutely fabulous quite amazing scenery delicious food and the staff were lovely and very knowledgeable We loved our stay and really enjoyed talking to the owner Dennis who had some brilliant stories and also told us a lot about the stars !

Positive: Beautiful location, excellent staff doing everything they can to please guests and do their job.

Negative: Very bad value for money spent. There are plenty of other lodges in the area for half of the price and much nicer. Etendeka camp badly needs refurbishing and rethinking. Activities are not well sort out - all age groups together , not much choice. Food was tasty and honest in a home-cooking style but inadequate for the price .

Summary: We had a good time in Etendeka camp but I wouldn't recommend it.

Positive: The property is in a beautiful isolated location; great to get away from it all. The staff were superb. Gecilus the guide was great - really knowledgeable and friendly.

Negative: The winds can be noisy at night, but you get used to it
